HELLO!
I’M MERVE

I’m available for commissions—book me today for individual portraits, artist portraits, editorials, or event coverage!

Merve Terzi (b. 1988, Istanbul) is a Berlin‑based photographer and conceptual artist. Since relocating to Berlin in 2013, she has developed a practice that spans analog and digital photography, collage, and montage—often produced as serial bodies of work accompanied by a photo book.

Rooted in autobiographical inquiry, Terzi’s projects interrogate the fluidity of time, the construction of personal identity, and the nature of memory. She seeks to uncover what lies beneath the visible—exploring how our narratives shape us, how we replay stories of the past, and the role that cultural and familial affiliations play in defining who we are.

Terzi studied Art History at universities in Freiburg, London, and Berlin (2008–2014) before earning a BA in Photography from BTK – Faculty for Art & Design, Berlin, in 2019. A long‑term member of FK‑Kollektiv, she has contributed to curatorial projects and book production. She is also active in Women Photograph Berlin, InWaves #WomenInCovid, and is a proud member of FREELENS.
